Amazing Slow Downer

How to remote control Amazing Slow Downer for Mac and Windows?

Remote controlling Amazing Slow Downer using an USB HID device.

It's possible to remote control the computer version Amazing Slow Downer using a USB HID device (Human Interface Device) connected to your computer. This could be a foot pedal, a IR remote controller or any USB device that conforms to the USB HID protocol. Currently only USB HID button commands are supported. Support for USB HID devices requires Amazing Slow Downer version 3.3.5 or better.

Before Amazing Slow Downer will react to an incoming USB command, it has to "learn" what each USB command should do. For more precise info please read the help file that is built into the Amazing Slow Downer software.

The most common USB foot pedal is probably the VEC "Infinity IN-USB-2" that can be purchased from various retailers including Amazon.com (or use Google to find a distributor in your country). Amazing Slow Downer works fine with this pedal. Since Amazing Slow Downer communicates with USB HID devices using a standardized protocol, any USB HID device should work but we can not guarantee support for all devices.
