Playback of tunes from the iTunes Music Store with Amazing Slow Downer

Mac OS X users:
From version 3.0.5 and up, Amazing Slow Downer for OS X playbacks DRM protected files from the iTunes store.

Windows users:
From version 3.1.9 and up, Amazing Slow Downer for Windows playbacks DRM protected files from the iTunes store.

All users:
It's possible to use iTunes to burn an audio CD version of the tune(s) and use that for slowing down.


Q. Amazing Slow Downer: Is it possible to save the slowed or speeded up versions of the audio?

A. To save a slowed down / speeded up / pitch changed file for CD burning:
Use the Amazing Slow Downer "File Menu" -> "Save song as..." item.
Select the "Processed stereo" item.
The saved file will be slowed down / speeded up / pitch changed according to your settings and will be saved as a 44100 Hz/16-bit/stereo file which you may burn to a CD with your ordinary CD burner software.


Q. I have the special version of Amazing Slow Downer that comes with a HalLeonard book/CD. The audio content of the CD doesn't show up in the track list.

A. There are some compatibility issues with early HalLeonard CDs, which a newer update will take care of. Updates of the Hal Leonard versions of Amazing Slow Downer are available here:

Q. I'm trying out the trial version of your software and I get strange error messages that will not go away whatever I do. I'm not a registered user.

A. Make sure you are not trying out the software with any kind of password entered. The errors will go away when you pay for the software.
