FAQ

Here you will find answers to some common questions about Roni Music software.

Q. When will you make a version of Amazing Slow Downer that runs on Android phones?

A. Now available at Google Play Store! Read more here

Q. Amazing Slow Downer for Windows doesn't any longer open Apple format files or iTunes playlists, why?

A. Starting with iTunes 10.5 Apple has made some significant changes for Windows users. Central is the removal of QuickTime from the installation package, since iTunes is said to no longer require it. Since Amazing Slow Downer needs QuickTime to be able to playback iTunes/Apple format files, you need to download and install QuickTime:

Playback of tunes from the iTunes Music Store with Amazing Slow Downer

Mac OS X users:
From version 3.0.5 and up, Amazing Slow Downer for OS X playbacks DRM protected files from the iTunes store.

Windows users:
From version 3.1.9 and up, Amazing Slow Downer for Windows playbacks DRM protected files from the iTunes store.

Q. Amazing Slow Downer for Mac/Windows: Is it possible to save the slowed or speeded up versions of the audio?

A. To save a slowed down / speeded up / pitch changed file for CD burning:
Use the Amazing Slow Downer "File Menu" -> "Save song as..." item.
Select the "Processed stereo" item.
The saved file will be slowed down / speeded up / pitch changed according to your settings and will be saved as a 44100 Hz/16-bit/stereo file which you may burn to a CD with your ordinary CD burner software.

Note:
Amazing Slow Downer for iOS (iPad/iPhone/iPod touch) can not re-save files.

Q. I have the special version of Amazing Slow Downer that comes with a Hal Leonard book/CD. The audio content of the CD doesn't show up in the track list.

A. There are some compatibility issues with early Hal Leonard CDs, which a newer update will take care of. Updates of the Hal Leonard versions of Amazing Slow Downer are available here:
