Importing songs
There are many ways to import songs. According to the
iCloud guidelines, content that is easily recreated should be stored
in a location that is not backed up to iCloud (or iTunes). Importing
from your music library falls into this category. The location where
these files are stored may also be deleted by the operating system if
it runs out of memory. The other four ways to import files stores these
files in a location that is backed up to iCloud and iTunes and will
never be deleted by the operating system. Even if the system should
delete all your imported music library files, the settings for those
files will still be intact, just reimport the needed files again.
Music Library
To be able to import songs from your music library, make sure the file
selection screen says "My Music" at the navigation bar at the top or
that the current folder is located inside the "My Music" folder. If
not, use the "Back" button at the navigation bar to take you out of
the current folder(s).
Tap the "Import Song" button at the bottom toolbar to select a song
from your music library. Amazing Slow Downer will import the song and
create a local copy of the file. The imported file will stay on your device for fast and easy
access. You can delete this local copy without affecting the original
file in your music library. Loops settings and other settings you have
made for this file will not be deleted, so if you import the same file
again your previous settings will be intact.
Before importing a new file you may create a new folder by tapping the
"Folder" button. This way you may organize your songs for various purposes.
Additional import possibilities such as iCloud Drive, Google Drive,
Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox etc may be available provided you have installed
apps for those cloud services.
